Ford to Launch FIGO by March 2010
By March 2010 For Motor Company’s “FIGO” (colloquial Italian for “cool.”) will be on roads. At present almost 70 per cent of Indian car segment market accounts to small cars. The sixth new Ford model, Figo is coming to compete soon. The speculative price will be between 3.5 – 5 lakhs. The MD and Ford India President wants to compete with the i10 and swift.

Available in seven shades- Diamond white, Panther black, Moondust silver, Chille, Sea grey, Squeeze and Colorad red, Ford Figo is having the typical ford design in front. A big front air dam below the grille gives Figo an aggressive look. The car would come with a 1.19-litre petrol engine and a 1.4-litre diesel engine, with three or four variants in each.
In the coming two years the car companies like Maruti, Tata Motors, Chevrolet, Ford and Hyundai will change the look of the Indian roads. These small cars are competing with each other in looks, prices and technology. These companies are offering a wide range of choices with different prices to opt for. So go ahead and have your own choice as per your pocket.
