HC : Identify students with learning disorders and counsel them

Looks like Indian education system will have to realize that teaching is not just to teach what is inside the books but they need to look around why the students are not prforming well and counsel them if there is any learning disorder found.

Payel Sarkar, suffering from Dyslexic, won a case againts her school which barred her from appearing  in CBSE 12th examniantions due to poor attendence and calcutta high court after hearing their plea issued a durecttive to CBSE to appoint experts for such case.  Dyslexic is a learning disorder where a person faces difficulty in reading, spelling and even in Maths. On similar lines The Maharashtra State Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will also provide a concession to students with autism appearing for the secondary school certificate with extra time.

Let us all hope that Indian Education system also starts seeing in various other aspcts like this and help brining up students who are left behind for these causes.
