LPG Terror
The Indian Kitchens are under a terror attack of the fear of rising in the LPG cylinders rate. At present the domestic LPG cylinder are sold after the subsidy by the government of almost Rs 300. As per the Kirti Parikh Panel the committee has planned to reform this benefit. As per the report only 6 – 8 LPG cylinders will be provided at the subsidy rate annually. For the additional purchase we will have to pay the market price which is around Rs 600 to Rs 650 per cylinder. The report waits the final approval from PM.
The rise in the price of kerosene and LPG cylinders is a real terror for the Indian Kitchens. The recent crisis in the availability of the LPG Cylinders has now given a threat of the rice in the hike. The implementation of the plan will definitely profit the oil companies over Rs 30000 crore at current level. But what about the common mass? Even in the remote areas and villages many are dependent on the LPG cylinders. Will they or rather we in a position to pay Rs 600 or Rs 650 for each cylinder? Are we in a position to take this pressure?
Current Price of Domestic 14.2 Kg LPG –
- Delhi – Rs 281.20
- Kolkata – Rs 328.70
- Mumbai – Rs 313.45
- Chennai – Rs 315.95
