Kashmir is the most popular tourist destination in India because of its flora, fauna and its magical climate and natural beauty, specially Srinagar, Sonmarg, Gulmarg and PahalaGaon. It is known as the- Paradise on Earth. Once a person visits Kashmir it remains unforgettable memory forever.
The government of Jammu and Kashmir has introduced helicopter services to promote the tourism in the valley. It will be connecting eight spots of which some of them located on the LOC and were declared as the no go area for the long time. The eight destination includes-
- Bangus, Gurez valley, Lolab in the Kashmir valley,
- Ladhak, Doda, Poonch, Rajauri, Kishtwar. Poonch and Rajauri are the border areas.
According to the Kashmir tourism minister Nasir Aslam Wani-The main aim for starting the helicopter services is to showcase the unexplored areas and to attract the high end visitors. All these places are safe, peaceful and completely secured. This will save the travel time of tourist .They said these all eight destinations are in the first phase and have the great potential but due to some security reason, these places never be explored.
Tourism department said the whole trip will take the time of 10 days to walk around the valley and there will be ample opportunities for the adventurous trekking, fishing, rafting and much more. The package includes the accommodation of tents for the guests. All these places are under the military supervision.
