Indian Schools for Sciences and Culture only

Looks like finally The Indian Education system is changing its trend with today’s decision by the HRD Ministry for starting two residential schools which will only teach Sciences and Culture in India which will eventually help the students to get involved in direct interaction with higher grade people involved in Tech and Culture developments in India.

These schools will be run by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). This was approved by  HRD minister Kapil Sibal. More you can read here.

The scheme looks good as it offers opportunity to many Indian students who fail to compete the boring traditional style of education system but what will depend is how the students will be selected into the NVS. If the criteria again stands based on percentage or the routine way, students who have different way of approaching problems and subjects will lag behind.

Also meeting the yearly expenditure for this kind of schooling will be challenging though the aim of this system should be to give poor but brilliant student a lending hand

We hope things come right and trust is on our Hon. HRD Minster for a changing India.
