After connecting Noida and Delhi in November 2009, Metro now connects Delhi and Gurgaon as well.
The new Metro Rail Route connects Delhi to Gurgaon. The new route is 14.47 Kms long and connects the Qutub Minar in south Delhi and HUDA City Centre in Gurgaon.
The 10 stations on this route are HUDA City Centre, IFFCO Chowk, MG Road, Sikanderpur, Guru Dronacharya, Arjangarh, Ghitorni, Sultanpur, Chhattarpur and Qutub Minar
If one wants to travel from Qutub Minar to HUDA City Centre, it takes almost an hour, if you are going in your car, but now, with the start of Metro Rail on this route, one can cover this distance in less than 30mins. Isn’t it great?
Apart form time saving, this is pretty economical and comparatively a greener option too.
By July, it is expected to get connected with the Central Secretariat-Jehangirpuri line in north Delhi, that means a far better connectivity.
So, if you commute between Delhi and Gurgaon in your car, go ahead and give a thought to stop travelling in your Car and Travel in Metro, save money, save time, and take a step towards a Greener India.
